3 Year Tourism Course Offering:

The first year Certificate course presents a broad introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects of tourism required for frontline tourism personnel.


FIRST YEAR MODULES (Certificate in International Tourism) :

Practical Training:


Assessments:

Theory and Practical assessments are conducted. An international examination is written at the end of the course.


Duration of course:

1 year Full Time (Theory, tutorials and practical sessions)




The second year Diploma course provides further insight to the theoretical and practical aspects of tourism for frontline tourism personnel.

SECOND YEAR MODULES (Diploma in International Tourism) :

Practical Training:


Assessments:

Theory and Practical assessments are conducted. An international examination is written at the end of the course.


Duration of course:

1 year Full Time (Theory, tutorials and practical sessions)




The third year Advanced Diploma course further equips the learner with the appropriate skills for further academic development or preparation for the workplace on first level management.

THIRD YEAR MODULES (Advanced Diploma in International Tourism) :

Theory and Practical assessments are conducted An international examination is written at the end of the course.


Duration of course:

1 year Full Time (Theory, tutorials and practical sessions)




ADDMISSION REQUIREMENTS

National Senior Certificate, Grade 12 or level 4 equivalent.

Proficiency in English is a basic requirement as the international examinations area only conducted in English and due to Internships.
