The Tourism and Business Institute of Southern Africa (TBISA) formerly known as Gaming and Hospitality Management Academy, was established in response to a clear need for the development of Skills, and to encourage previously disadvantaged individuals, and the youth to become part of such a vibrant and exciting sector.

The Institute is the brainchild of Rahman Murtuza, a respected veteran of the gaming and hospitality industry, who has been a pioneer of various projects in his quest to promote tourism across Africa. Rahman has been involved in many initiatives from the days of RETOSA, and OAU as well as SADC.
